The RM of Milton No. 292 would like to thank Susan Johnson for the many years of service and dedication to the Alsask Gopher Dip Swimming Pool. Susan first started at the Alsask Swimming Pool in 1974, she was 16 years old. She has taught three generations of swimmers; many have travelled seasonally to take lessons specifically from her program. Her dedication to a safe swimming environment cannot be replaced. She ensured her staff were capable and compliant of the program guidelines and that the facility was well maintained, including the introduction of an ultraviolet system to minimize chlorine use and reduce chemical effects on swimmers. Her expertise, experience, and genuine love of swimming have been the greatest assets to the facility and her method of teaching has ensured many competent swimmers have developed from the program. Although we are saddened that she is retiring from managing the facility, we are excited for her next chapter of life. We wish Susan the very best in her retirement!
