The Emergency Boil Water Order issued for Alsask on August 24, 2023 has been lifted effective immediately by Saskatchewan Public Health. Subsequent repeat samples indicate that bacteriological test results are within acceptable limits therefore, The Emergency Boil Water Order is hereby removed. The Water Security Agency has determined that the most likely cause for the positive E. Coli sample was a potential sampling error while completing routine water samples on August 23, 2023. The RM of Milton thanks everyone for their cooperation and patience while we worked to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
